  • What We Teach

    A progressive curriculum

Our PSHCE and RSE curriculum develops progressively from Year 7 to Year 13, preparing students for the opportunities, responsibilities and challenges they will encounter as they grow.

    Students learn about areas including:

    • healthy friendships, families and committed relationships

    • respect, consent and healthy boundaries

    • puberty, reproduction, fertility and sexual health

    • contraception, pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections

    • online relationships, sharing intimate images, sextortion and AI-generated/deepfake imagery

    • pornography, media influence and body image

    • coercion, harassment, exploitation and abuse

    • mental and emotional wellbeing and seeking help

    • equality, discrimination and relevant aspects of the law

    • personal responsibility, values, vocation and the common good.

Content is age and developmentally appropriate, carefully sequenced and revisited as students mature.
