Dave’s journey at St. Bede’s began in 1997 when he joined us as a PE teacher, before becoming Head of Bell Burnell House in 2002. For nearly thirty years, Dave has made an extraordinary contribution to college life and to the wider community. Through his leadership of Bell Burnell, he has raised tens of thousands of pounds for charity, particularly in support of St Peter’s Hospice — a legacy that will continue to make a real difference to others.
Beyond fundraising, Dave has been an incredible source of guidance, encouragement and support for thousands of our young people in his role as Head of House. His calm leadership, high expectations and genuine care have helped shape countless students during their time at St. Bede’s.

Dave will be sorely missed by students and staff alike, but we are immensely proud of him and wish him every success in his new role. Thank you, Dave, for your dedication, commitment and lasting impact on the St. Bede’s community.
