Message to Parents - Advice from Department of Education
We have received the following advice from the Department for Education ;
Advice for parents/guardians
You should not be unduly worried about the possibility of your children catching the Coronavirus.
There is no reason why your children should not continue to attend their early years, school or further education setting as normal.
We recognise that some families or children may be planning to travel to China during the forthcoming half term period. If so, please refer to the FCO’s latest travel advice via the link here: https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/china
The children have received this advice in college today;
You should not be unduly worried about the possibility of catching the Coronavirus.
Here is what you can do to help prevent the spread of any form of virus;
- Always carry tissues with you and use them to catch your cough or sneeze
- Bin the tissue
- Kill the germs by washing your hands with soap and water, or use a sanitiser gel
Please encourage the children to follow these basic hygiene steps.
