Students in Areté at St Bede’s Catholic College celebrate excellent A Level Results - 2026

A Level provision in Areté is well established and St Bede’s continues to be amongst the best in the city. 136 students completed their study with us and they are now celebrating the following successes:

A* - C 72%
Average Grade C+

Rob King, Principal, said “Our students worked so hard to further develop a passion for their subjects and make the most of their God-given talents. It is therefore extremely pleasing to see them rewarded for their character and resilience with outstanding grades today”.

Lucy Kirkbright and Nick Sutton, Heads of Sixth Form, said: “Congratulations to all our students on their fantastic results. They have worked incredibly hard over the past two years, and we are very proud of what they have achieved. We are also grateful to their families and to our staff for the support they have given our students along the way.

These results will give our students a great platform for whatever comes next, whether that is university, an apprenticeship, further study or employment, or even a gap year. We wish them every success as they take their next steps and look forward to hearing about all they achieve in the future.”
