Our Politics and Law students were treated to a guest visit from the Rt Hon Darren Jones MP, a senior member of the government who serves as Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, Chief Secretary to the Treasury and is a Cabinet level Minister.
13 Year 10 Pupils have put themselves forward to be commissioned as Extraordinary Ministers of Communion (Eucharistic Ministers) and were commissioned at the Mass to celebrate the Feast of St Bede.

On Wednesday, 3rd June, our talented dance group had the honour of performing at the National School Sports Summit, opening the event in front of an audience of more than 500 delegates from across the education and sports sectors.

St Bede’s Catholic College was incredibly proud to welcome Olympian Tess Howard for a special visit on Wednesday, 22nd April, an event that proved to be both inspiring and memorable for everyone involved.
We welcomed St. Bede's Alumni Anthony Kolanko as our special guest at the 30th Annual Prize Giving ceremony on Thursday, 30th April 2026.
More than 150 students were recognised for their excellent achievement, positive attitude and contribution to the college community. While many award recipients had been announced in advance, the evening also featured several surprise honours revealed during the ceremony.
Our college celebrated Culture Week with a vibrant mix of activities that brought everyone together. Students shared foods from around the world, took part in Cultural Dress Day, and enjoyed a wonderful Culture Showcase.
A huge congratulations to our talented students in the Veritas Ensemble, who took to the stage at the prestigious Bristol Old Vic on Thursday, 26th March.

Year 8 students spent a high-octane day at Babcock’s Festival of Engineering, proving that the future of STEM is in very capable hands. Coinciding with UNESCO World Engineering Day, 25 of our students headed to the front lines of innovation to see what a career in engineering really looks like.
We are proud to be celebrating Neurodiversity Celebration Week in school this week. This important initiative challenges stereotypes and misconceptions about neurological differences, while recognising and valuing the unique strengths individuals bring to our community.
