    Catenian Public Speaking Competition

On Sunday 17th March, John Gompels and Fortune Onovo took part in the annual Catenian Public Speaking Competition.

Fortune's speech was on "The effects of Social Media on Conversation" while John tackled the tricky subject of "How does the Catholic Church regain Credibility?"  The competition was very tough with five schools and nine competitors performing brilliantly over the afternoon.

We were absolutely delighted that John won the competition and now goes through to the final in Manchester later in the year.  Well done to both of you and to all of those that took part in the difficult selection process.
